Police release video of fatal crash involving Venus Williams
13:24 9 July, 2017Florida Police released video of the June 9 crash which shows tennis star Venus Williams legally entering an intersection seconds before she drove into the path of another car, resulting in a fatal accident.
Jerome Barson, 78, had died from a fractured spine after the wreck in Palm Beach Gardens.
Police said the video shows that Williams did enter the intersection legally before being cut off by another car and stranded when the traffic light cycled. Her SUV was then T-boned by a vehicle driven by Barson’s wife, who sustained serious injuries.
Jerome Barson was rushed to hospital, but he died on June 22.
Police are looking for the driver of the car that caused this crash, according to Palm Beach Post.
