FIDE Grand Prix: Levon Aronian starts with draw

FIDE Grand Prix 2017 tournament, which is the qualifier of the World Chess Championship 2018, has kicked off in Geneva, Switzerland.

Leader of the Armenian chess Levon Aronian also took part in the tournament. In the first round, he played a draw with white pieces against Chinese Li Chao.

Within the framework of FIDE Grand Prix, Levon Aronian earlier took part in a tournament in Sharjah, UAE, sharing 13-14th place.
