Grand Chess Tour: Levon Aronian shares 5-7 places in rapid round

The rapid round of Grand Chess Tour held in Leuven city of Belgium has ended.

The last three rounds were held on Friday. In the 7th round Levon Aronian played a draw with Ukrainian Vassily Ivanchuk. In the 8th round he lost to American Wesley So, and in the 9th tour Aronian beat French Maxime Vachier-Lagrave. The Armenian grandmaster thus shares 5-7 places with 9 points.

The blitz round will be held from July 1 to 2.
