Luís Figo: Even Ronaldo is not indispensable
11:51 22 June, 2017Portuguese football legend Luís Figo commented on the situation regarding the possibility of his compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo parting ways with Real Madrid (Spain).
“I hold the opinion that nobody is indispensable, not just Cristiano Ronaldo,” Figo said to GOAL when asked about the Portugal forward’s future. “Clubs can’t depend on anybody. The history of these clubs is above everyone.
“A lot of things would have to happen for him to leave [Real].
“It is a personal decision. And if a person really wants something to happen, then it will end up happening; but I see it as unlikely.”
As reported earlier, Real Madrid Florentino Pérez had said those that wish to acquire Ronaldo need to pay €1 billion as his transfer price.
