Armenia’s Poghosyan wins bronze in Tokyo

Sona Poghosyan (Armenia) became a bronze medalist at the 2017 Junior World Championships of weightlifting, which are held in the Japanese capital city of Tokyo.

She lifted a combined weight of 223 kilograms in the 75kg women’s competition. Also, Poghosyan won a silver medal in the Clean & Jerk, as she lifted 125 kilograms.

The tournament will come to a close on Friday.
