Armenia’s junior international footballer signs new contract with Russian club

KHIMKI. – Armenian junior national football team’s midfielder Artak Aleksanyan signed a new contract with the Russian First Division FC Khimki in Moscow Oblast (Region).

And the 21-year-old player will continue wearing the No. 37 jersey at the Russian club, the latter’s official website informs.    

Aleksanyan was transferred from Armenian capital city Yerevan’s FC Pyunik to FC Khimki in 2011. He played eighteen games, as member of this club, and scored three goals.

At the end of the 2011-2012 season, however, FC Khimki had formally announced that Artak Aleksanyan was to leave the Club, but the team changed its mind and offered a new contract to Armenia’s junior international player.
