European boxing championships: Armenia’s Margaryan also defeated

Armenian representative Vladimir Margaryan (69 kg) on Monday lost to Russian Sergei Sobylinksi, thus not being able to overcome the 1/8 final of the European boxing championships held in Ukraine’s Kharkiv either.

Earlier, Artur Hovhannisyan (49 kg), Narek Abgaryan (52 kg) and Gurgen Hovhannisyan (super heavyweight) also got defeated.

Hovhannes Bachkov (64 kg) has advanced to the quarter final.

Karen Tonakanyan (60 kg), Arman Darchinyan (75 kg) and Narek Manasyan (91 kg) will participate in the bouts of 1/8 final on Tuesday.
