European boxing championships: Armenia’s Gurgen Hovhannisyan has good start

Armenia’s Gurgen Hovhannisyan won his first bout at the European boxing championships in Ukraine’s Kharkiv.

Hovhannisyan defeated his Serb opponent Vladan Babic, Armenian boxing federation reported.

Armenia’s Vladimir Margaryan (69 kg) and Narek Manasyan (91 kg) will start competing on June 17.
