European Fencing Championships: Egorian helps Russia win silver medal

Two-time champion at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Russian Armenian fencer Yana Egorian, became a silver medalist, together with Russia’s national women’s team, at the 2017 European Fencing Championships being held in Georgia’s capital city of Tbilisi.

Russia lost to Italy in the final of the women’s saber team competition.

To note, Egorian has recently recovered from injury.
