Armenian teenage girl absolute winner in European chess championship

Armenia’s chess player Maria Gevorgyan won the title of European Girl's Champion in U18 group at the Continental Rapid Championship, which was held in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She scored 5.5 points out of 6 and left her nearest rival behind by 1.5 points.

Gevorgyan also became European Girl's Rapid Absolute Champion winning at the super final, where the winners of all age groups were taking part, Armchess.am reports.

Besides, Gevorgyan became European Girl's Vice-Champion in U18 group at Blitz Championship.
