2018 World Cup qualifiers: Montenegro vs. Armenia

The national football squad of Armenia on Saturday will be hosted by Montenegro, in their next 2018 World Cup qualifier.

This will be the second clash between the two teams. The first encounter between them also took place along the lines of these qualifiers. 

In this match that was played in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, the hosts defeated Montenegro by a score of 3-2, as they came back after being two goals down. 

Also, this game was Armenian football legend Artur Petrosyan’s debut as manager of the national squad.

The Armenian national team on Friday held a prematch training session at Podgorica City Stadium, in the Montenegrin capital city, where Saturday’s match will be played.

The Montenegro-Armenia clash will kick off at 10:45pm, Armenia Time.
