Yerevan to host first Journalists’ International Football Tournament

The first Journalists’ International Football Tournament will take place at FC Pyunik Training Center in Yerevan on June 3.

The tournament will see competition of eight teams from Armenia, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Georgia, Belarus, Russia, and the city of Gyumri (Armenia-2 team).

The matches will be held on the one-quarter part of the pitch, four games at once on the entire pitch. All teams will play against one another. Each game will last for 15 minutes and will be followed by a 10-minute break. Every 4th game will be followed by a 30-minute break. Referees from the Football Federation of Armenia will serve the games.

The organizer of this event is Armenian Online Media and Journalists Association, the main sponsor is Electric Networks of Armenia, while Armenian Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs performs as a sponsor.
The tournament will kick off at 10:30 at FC Pyunik Training Center on June 3.
Fans and journalists are free to attend the event.
