Arthur Abraham meets with Pope Francis

Armenian athlete Arthur Abraham (Germany), the World Boxing Organization (WBO) World Super Middleweight former titleholder, was received by Pope Francis, at the Vatican, according to Bild newspaper of Germany.

The 36-year-old boxer presented to the Pope the gloves he wore during his championship bout.   

“I told the Pope about my boxing career and said I’m a true believer,” noted Abraham. “Saying goodbye, the Pope wished me luck.”
