Mkhitaryan marks his comeback with a super goal, Manchester United wins
20:53 26 December, 2016Manchester United beat Sunderland 3-1 in the framework of the 18thround matches of the Premier League, which kicked off Monday.
In the first half, Daley Blind opened the score with Ibrahimović’s assist. The second goal was scored by the Swedish forward in the second half.
In the 62nd minute, midfielder of the Armenian National team Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who missed the previous two matches because of an injury, took the field. In the 86th minute, Mkhitrayan netted a wonderful goal. During the stoppage time the guests managed to score a consolation goal.
Manchester United thus equaled with second-placed Tottenham with 33 points. The latter will play its 18th round match against Southampton on Wednesday.
