Armenia’s Avagyan makes professional boxing debut with win

YEREVAN. – Former member of Armenia’s national boxing team, European championship bronze medalist, and 2016 Summer Olympics participant Aram Avagyan has made his professional debut.

Avagyan defeated Andrei Nurchinski (Belarus) in a convincing way in a six-round bout in Voronezh, Russia.

Narek Abgaryan, who fought his second bout in professional ring, also achieved a win, informed the Boxing Federation of Armenia press service.
