Armenia’s Hovhannisyan becomes European junior’s champion

Armenia has won its first medal at the Junior & U23 European Weightlifting Championships being held in Eilat, Israel.

Davit Hovhannisyan became European champion by lifting a combined weight of 326 kg (149 kg in the Snatch and 177 kg in the Clean & Jerk) in the Junior Boy’s 77 kg competition.
