Conor McGregor announces plans to take break from UFC, after historic win

Conor McGregor (Ireland) has become the first fighter in history to become the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) reining titleholder in two weight categories.

In the main event at UFC 205 in New York, McGregor knocked out Eddie Alvarez (USA) and became the UFC Lightweight Champion.

The Irishman already held the UFC Featherweight title.

After this victory, however, Conor McGregor, 28, announced that he plans to take a break from his UFC career, reported the MMAWeekly
