Europa League: Mkhitaryan among Man U players in match against Turkey’s Fenerbahçe
14:05 2 November, 2016Armenia national football team captain and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been included in the Manchester United (a.k.a. Red Devils) squad, in their Europa League group stage clash with Fenerbahçe S.K. (Istanbul, Turkey), informed the website of this English club.
A total of 21 Man United players left for Istanbul, where the match will be played on Thursday.
This is the first time that Mkhitaryan will be featuring for the Red Devils, ever since recovering from his injury.
The 27-year-old Armenia international has been omitted from the recent games this English team, albeit he has recovered from his injury a long time ago and is training without restrictions.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been out of action since September 10, when his thigh injury recurred during Manchester United’s Premier League derby against Manchester City.
