Manchester United (a.k.a. Red Devils) midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan on Monday trained with the first team of this English football club, reported The Daily Mail newspaper of Great Britain.

The Red Devils are preparing for their Europa League group stage clash with Fenerbahçe S.K. (Istanbul, Turkey). The match is slated for Thursday in Istanbul.

German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, whom manager José Mourinho had sent to train with the Man United U23 side before the start of the new season, also trained with the first team.

Armenia national squad captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan has not featured for the Red Devils in their recent matches, albeit he has recovered from his injury a long time ago and is training without restrictions.

The 27-year-old Armenia international has been out of action since September 10, when his thigh injury recurred during Manchester United’s Premier League derby against Manchester City.

But on November 11, he is expected to enter the pitch in Armenia’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Montenegro; this match will be played in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.
