New achievement of Armenian mountaineers

Three members of the Armenian Mountaineering and Mountain Tourism Federation team climbed Europe’s highest peak, Mount Elbrus (5,641 m).

The climbing lasted three days. The Armenian proved that they were capable of overcoming Europe’s highest peak.

The team included Garegin Unusyan, Levon Movsisyan and Suren Petrosyan, the Federation said. The mountaineers will return to Armenia on July 6 or 7.

Earlier, the Federation team climbed Mount Kazbek (5,033 m) and Damavand (5,671 m).
