Armenia’s Migran Arutyunyan to undergo operation in Germany

Armenian Olympic Vice Champion, Greco-Roman wrestler  Migran Arutyunyan will be operated on in Germany, the official website of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia (NOCA) reports.

According to the information, the 27-year-old wrestler took part in the 31st Rio Olympics with sports injury. The expenses related to the operation have been fully defrayed by NOCA headed by Gagik Tsarukyan. 

In the final of the 66 kg category Olympic tournament of Greco-Roman wrestling, Armenian representative Migran Arutyunyan was deprived of gold medal as a result of biased refereeing.
