Man U fans change Sting song to honor Mkhitaryan
12:55 22 August, 2016The Manchester United (England) supporters have changed the lyrics of the song, “Englishman In New York” by famous British singer Sting, in honor of Armenia national football squad captain and midfielder and Man United newcomer Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
“Mkhitaryan, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, he’s our Armenian midfielder,” they say in the chorus of this song.
The English club—nicknamed “the Red Devils”—won their match against Southampton F.C by a score of 2-0 in their first official home game this season Premier League.
And the Armenia international entered the pitch in the 75th minute.
