Rio 2016: Armenia is 36th in medal count after Day 11

Thanks to the one gold and two silver medals won at the Day 11 competitions on Tuesday, Armenia jumped to the 36th spot in the current team medal standings at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Armenia has 4 medals (1 gold, 3 silver), at present.

After the 27 medals that were up for grabs on Tuesday, USA still heads the standings with 28 gold, 28 silver, and 28 bronze medals.  

Great Britain is still second with 19 gold, 19 silver, and 12 bronze medals.

China is still in third place with 17 gold, 15 silver, and 19 bronze medals.

And Russia is fourth with 12 gold, 12 silver, and 14 bronze medals.

Armenia is represented at Rio 2016 with 33 athletes.
