Artur Aleksanyan: I dedicate victory to Armenian soldier standing at border, and all victims of the war

2016 Summer Olympics champion, Greco-Roman wrestler Artur Aleksanyan (Armenia), stated that he dedicates his victory to the Armenian soldiers who are standing at the border, and the heroes who fell during the four-day war which Azerbaijan had unleashed against Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) in April.

“I’m happy, proud, that Armenia again won a gold metal at the Olympics, after a 20-year interval,” the National Olympic Committee of Armenia quoted Aleksanyan as saying. “I was very affected after the April war. And I had decided for myself back than that if I became champion, I will wear this shirt.
