Rio 2016: Usain Bolt wins gold medal in 100m (PHOTOS)

Eleven-time world champion Usain Bolt on Sunday won the Men’s 100m sprint at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

As a result, Bolt became a 7-time Olympic champion.

The 100- and 200-meter world record holder won the race in 9.81 seconds.

The Jamaican sprinter had set the 100m world record in 2009, with 9.58 seconds.
