Rio 2016: Medal count after Day 7

After Day 7 competitions Friday at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, USA still heads the unofficial team standings with 16 gold, 12 silver, and 14 bronze medals.

The Americans are 4 gold medals ahead of the Chinese, and Japan rounds up the top three.

Great Britain, South Korea, Germany, Australia, France, Hungary, and Russia are also in the top ten of the current medal standings.

Armenia is represented at Rio 2016 with 33 athletes, but it has not yet won a medal.
