Armenia to hold traditional Yerevan Half Marathon
14:22 19 July, 2016On October 16, the capital city of Armenia will again host Yerevan Half Marathon, which has become a traditional international competition.
Distances in the event are developed to meet the needs of all categories: 1 km race for kids, 10 km for beginners, and 21.1 km for experienced runners.
Up to 3,000 amateur and experienced runners can participate in this year’s Yerevan Half Marathon.
Active participation is expected also from Russia, European countries, US, and Georgia, informed the Yerevan Municipality.
Those who wish to participate need to register in advance at www.armeniamarathon.org.
The Yerevan Half Marathon will be timed by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), and it will get international status.
