Clashes occurred between the England national football team supporters, and local residents and police in Marseille, France, on the eve of the Euro 2016 kick-off on Friday.
About 200 English fans provoked clashes in the heart of the city.

Most of these supporters of the England team were under the influence of alcohol.
Also, they started singing: “ISIS, where are you?,” implying that no terrorist threat can obstruct them from attending the Euro 2016 matches of England, reported The Daily Mail newspaper of Great Britain.

Marseille is a port city with a strong Islamic community. It is believed Muslims make up a third of the population.
