Armenia national football squad and FC Pyunik (Yerevan, Armenia) defender Varazdat Haroyan’s transfer to Tractor Sazi F.C. (Tabriz, Iran) will not be carried out, according to Varzesh3.com of Iran.
Tractor Sports Director Mostafa Ajorlo also confirmed this information.

Some fans of this club opposed the Armenian player’s transfer to Tractor, and the club chairman decided not to oppose them.

Tractor Sazi has numerous Azerbaijani supporters in Iran.

The club website on Monday had informed that Haroyan signed a two-year deal with the team.
Gevorg Kasparov, former goalkeeper of the national team of Armenia, had played at this Iranian club, from 2008 to 2009.

And in a game played in the current year, the Tractor fans had made anti-Armenian chants.
The Iranian city of Tabriz has a considerable Azerbaijani population.
