Ultimate Blitz STL: Garry Kasparov finishes 3rd

Grandmaster (GM) Garry Kasparov (ex-USSR), the 13th world champion of classical chess, placed third in the Ultimate Blitz Challenge, which took place in St. Louis, USA.

Kasparov’s opponents were GMs Hikaru Nakamura, Wesley So, and Fabiano Caruana (USA).

Nakamura became the winner of this chess tournament, which was held with six rounds.
Garry Kasparov, whose mother was Armenian, is also a writer and political activist, and he is considered by many to be the greatest chess player of all time.
