Armenia’s Merdinyan becomes gold medalist in Qatar

Harutyun Merdinyan (Armenia) won a gold medal at the 9th International Federation of Gymnastics (FIG) Artistic World Challenge Cup, which is held in the Qatari capital city of Doha, according to The Peninsula, a daily newspaper of the country.

Merdinyan had no equal in the pommel horse.

In addition, Armenia’s Vahagn Davtyan and Artur Tovmasyan won silver and bronze, respectively, in the rings.
