Most expensive winter transfer

The biggest deal in the January transfer window was FC Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine) midfielder Alex Teixeira’s move to Jiangsu Suning F.C. (China).

Transfer fee for the Brazilian midfielder is 50 million euros, reported the Shakhtar website.

According to unofficial data, Teixeira will get an annual salary of 10 million euros in his new club.
