Russia thrashed Turkey by a score of 29-0 in the group phase of the 2016 Women’s European Water Polo Championships being held in Belgrade, the capital city of Serbia.

Team Russia on Tuesday will play against Portugal.

The Russian women will also face Greece, the Netherlands, and Hungary in the group stage.

The national teams need to come in at least fourth to advance to the playoffs.
