Vardan Israelian becomes Ukraine football club chairman

Vardan Israelian has been appointed Chairman of FC Stal Dniprodzerzhynsk, reported the website of this Ukrainian football club.    

Israelian, 49, was a longtime sporting director at FC Metalurh Donetsk (Ukraine).

Metalurh, however, had declared bankruptcy ahead of the current season, and merged with Stal.
