Armenia’s Kirakosyan becomes silver medalist

YEREVAN. – Armenia won a silver and a bronze medal on the first day of competition at the 40th World Sambo Championships that kicked off in Casablanca, Morocco.

Accordingly, Tigran Kirakosyan became a silver medalist in the 52kg competition, informed the press service of the Armenian Sambo Federation.

Ernest Hayrapetyan, on the other hand, won a bronze medal in the 57kg category.

Separately, Armenia’s Maksim Manukyan will start his medal campaign on Saturday.
