Azerbaijani GM Teimour Radjabov considers Russia, Ukraine and Armenia are favorites of the upcoming Chess Olympics 2012.

“I hope our team will be present with its best players and will be targeted at the first place,” he said.

Radjabov said Azerbaijani team has great potential and already proved it at the 2009 European championships, RIA Novosti reports.

“Who will be our rivals? Definitely the countries which are always struggling for victory – Russia, Ukraine and Armenia,” he said.

Istanbul will host Chess Olympics 2012 starting from August 27.
