Armenia’s Artur Aleksanyan, 23, was crowned World Greco-Roman Wrestling Champion for the second consecutive year.

In the final of 98kg competition at the 2015 World Wrestling Championships that kicked off in Las Vegas, USA, the wrestler from Gyumri defeated 2012 London Olympics champion Ghasem Rezaei (Iran) by a score of 3-0, and whom he had defeated in the previous year, too.

Armenia’s Mihran Harutyunyan (66kg) and world champion Arsen Julfalakyan (75kg), on the other hand, lost their bronze-medal matches.

Aleksanyan and Harutyunyan have qualified for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.
