WTA: Russia’s Gasparyan moves up 36 places

The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) has issued the new singles leaderboard of the WTA tour.
Accordingly, Russian Armenian Margarita Gasparyan (Russia), who became a double winner in the WTA Baku Cup, climbed from 87th to 51st place.

In addition, Gasparyan moved up 41 places to 71st in the WTA world ranking.

The 20-year-old Muscovite athlete won her first WTA tour title in Baku, as she won the women’s singles title in the Azerbaijani capital city.
