Ronda Rousey’s open training in Yerevan (PHOTOS)

UFC and MMA Champion Ronda Rousey said her visit to Armenia is to contribute to the recognition of the Armenian Genocide. On Thursday Ronda Rousey participated in an hour-long open training with the Armenian national team at the Dinamo sports stadium. The famous martial artist spent her workout with her trainer Edmond Tarverdian, while the Armenian sportsmen were warming up. 

“I know that in 1915 a horrible genocide took place. I am here to contribute to the efforts towards the Armenian Genocide recognition. I thought that I could best contribute to these efforts by my personal presence in Armenia during these days. I will try to share my experience with Armenian athletes. I am glad to have the chance to be in Armenia and train with Armenian athletes”, Ronda Rousey said.

By the way the UFC and MMA Champion Ronda Rousey intends to visit Armenian Genocide Memorial on April 24.
