European Weightlifting Championships: Armenia’s Khurshudyan wins bronze

London Olympics bronze medalist Hripsime Khurshudyan (Armenia) won a bronze medal at the European Weightlifting Championships being held in Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia.In the Women’s +75 kg competition, Khurshudyan came in fourth overall by lifting a combined weight of 254 kg (113 kg in Snatch and 141 kg in Clean & Jerk). With 141 kg, Armenia’s athlete took third place in the Clean & Jerk.

Team Armenia have ended their competition. The men’s team secured five, and the women’s squad garnered two Olympic qualifications.
