Boxer Misha Aloyan (52 kg; Russia), who is a two-time world champion and a bronze medalist at the 2012 London Olympics, always wanted to enter the professional ring.

“[But] my main task in the future is to become the winner at the AIBA Pro Boxing tournament being held in my hometown Novosibirsk, and to qualify for the 2016 Rio [de Janeiro] Olympic Games.

“I’ve always followed professional boxing bouts; I’ve always had the desire to participate in them. But, now, I really like the AIBA Pro Boxing project, which is not a lesser professional boxing,” Rsport quoted Aloyan, who is born in Armenia.

The boxer, who represents Novosibirsk, already has had two wins at the AIBA Pro Boxing and he needs two more for an Olympic berth.
