World Championships: Armenia’s Danielyan becomes bronze medalist

YEREVAN. – Team Armenia won another medal, and this time on the last day of competitions at the 2014 World SAMBO Championships that were held in Narita, Japan.

The 2013 world champion Ashot Danielyan was unable to retain his title in the 82 kg weight class, and he won a bronze medal. 

Mavrik Nasibyan (Armenia), on the other hand, had captured gold and was crowned world champion in the 74 kg weight class.

Both athletes represent the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic capital city Stepanakert Branch of the Children and Youth Olympic Sambo and Judo School, the Armenian Sambo Federation informed.
