World Championships: Armenia’s Margaryan places 7th in Group B

The 2014 International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) World Championships have kicked off in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Smbat Margaryan, who represents Armenia in the Men’s 56 kg weight class, competed in Group B. 

In the end, Margaryan captured seventh place among the competitors in Groups C and B, by lifting a combined weight of 250 kg (107 kg in Snatch and 143 kg in Clean & Jerk).
