Arthur Abraham: Let the Americans come to us
09:08 13 October, 2014Armenian boxer Arthur Abraham (Germany), who is the reining WBO Super Middleweight Champion, has expressed a desire to fight George Groves and Mikkel Kessler.
The 34-year-old athlete has no interest in traveling to the US to face Andre Ward or Andre Dirrell, since he sees neither fighter as being capable of bringing enough money to the table.
“I’m ready to box with anyone who is willing to fight me, especially with Groves and Kessler.
“For me, fighting in America is not important. The main focus right now is to put on performances in Europe. Let the Americans come to us. We’re the champions. Let them come if they want our belt,” Boxing Scene quoted Abraham as saying.
