Real Madrid break European cups’ record

FC Real Madrid have broken European cups’ record with the number of goals. The Spanish giants achieved this accomplishment in their European Football Associations (UEFA) Champions League group match against FC Basel (Switzerland) on Tuesday, AS reported. 

As a result, Real have become the only club to bag 1,000 goals in European cups.

 France international and Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema scored the 1,000th goal.  It took the Spanish club 201 games to set this record.
