Armenia’s Babayan becomes world vice-champion

YEREVAN. – Hrachik Babayan (Armenia) has won a silver medal at the 51st Shooting World Championship which is held in Granada, Spain.

Babayan came in second in the Men’s Junior 10m Air Rifle (60 shots).

The young athlete had shown the best result in Sunday’s qualification round, the Armenian Shooting Federation informed.

This world championship is the first shooting tournament where the participating athletes compete to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
