Armenia Olympians are greeted with great fanfare at home (PHOTOS)
15:17 30 August, 2014By Lusine ShahbazyanYEREVAN. – The Armenian delegation, which participated in the 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games that were held in Nanjing, China, returned home on Saturday. Armenia’s Olympic champions, silver and bronze medalists, and other delegation members were greeted at the airport with great enthusiasm and warmth. Subsequently, the Olympians headed to the Republic Square in capital city Yerevan. In Nanjing, Armenia won two gold, two silver, and three bronze medals, and, together with Slovenia, shared the 29th place in the unofficial team standings.
