Spanish Supercup: Ronaldo “KOes” Atlético defender

An unpleasant incident during Friday night’s 2014 Supercopa de España (Supercup of Spain) Spanish football championship return leg between Atlético Madrid and FC Real Madrid.

In the 95th minute into the game, Portugal national squad captain and Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo knocked out Uruguay international and Atlético defender Diego Godín.

The game referee, however, did not send Ronaldo off, and just showed him a yellow card.

Atlético Madrid won the 2014 Supercopa de España on aggregate.
