YEREVAN. – The participants were only complaining about the hot weather conditions. The representatives of the participating countries had a positive impression of Armenia.

Nazik Amiryan, who is President of the Archery National Federation of Armenia, noted the above-said at a press conference on Tuesday.

She summed up the European Archery Championship which recently wrapped up in Etchmiadzin, Armenia.

“We worked together throughout this time; the competitions were held without problems. The representatives of all the [participating] countries highly rated the course of competitions. But the [most] important and the ultimate is the registry of the chief referee of the championship.

“Now, we await the chief referee’s assessment. If it is high, we will have the opportunity to apply for hosting the 2019 World Championship,” Amiryan specifically noted.
