Ronaldo expected to miss out on UEFA Super Cup match

In all likelihood, Portugal national football squad captain and FC Real Madrid (Spain) striker Cristiano Ronaldo will not play in his club’s UEFA Super Cup clash against Sevilla FC (Spain), AS reported.

The Champions League winners will face Sevilla on August 12.  On Saturday, Ronaldo, 29, will join Real, which are on a training camp in the US. 

The 2013 Player of the Year wants to avoid the recurrence of his injury.
